TOE, HEEL STEPS (STRUTS)
1-8 Walk forward R-L-R-L
SIDE STEPS, GRAPEVINE TO RIGHT WITH A SPIN (TURNING VINE)
1-4 R out to R side, slide back together with L, repeat exactly
5-8 R out to R side, spin to R [full turn and back to original position], R out to R side, then together & clap
REPEAT LAST 8 COUNT EXACTLY
1-8 But this time to the left. Replace the R’s with L’s.
KNEE LIFTS WHILE GOING BACKWARDS, JUMP STEPS
1-6 Bring R knee up & down, bring L knee up and down. Bring R knee up and down. [Each knee lift should be at an angle and not straight in front. Also, each step down should be placed slightly behind so that you actually are walking backwards.]
7-8 Jump in place landing with feet crossed R over L, jump quarter turn in air to L, landing with feet apart
CHA CHA’S OR SHUFFLE STEPS
1-8 Cha cha forward R together R; L lunge forward, rock and recover; cha cha backward L together L, R lunge backward, rock & recover
SHIMMY STEPS OR BOUNCE STEPS
1-8 R out to R side [body slightly down], bring L together [standing back up straight], R out to R side again [body slightly down], bring L together [standing back up straight]
